Proposed Initiative 22
and The School Finance Act

Proposed Initiative 22 seeks to restore nearly $1 billion to Colorado's education budget through a two-tiered income tax. The initiative supports the School Finance Act, which passed through the Senate and House in the most recent legislative session. Without the voter-approved tax increase, however, The School Finance Act will be moot.
